There are five of them.
Five mini-pups with a rather chaotic start in life.
They first lost their mother.
How? No one has ever been able to tell me.
The woman who had taken them in couldn’t keep them anymore. She couldn’t afford to feed them. And when we went to get them, it was obvious: they probably hadn’t eaten for several days. They were really thin.
Normally, I don’t take in puppies who aren’t directly from the streets.
But this time, I simply couldn’t bring myself to let them die.
At first, I thought I’d easily find adopters here in Mexico.
Spoiler: nope.
So little by little, they joined the rest of the pack…
and along the way, they’ve made a habit of playing with my nerves.
Real little batteries on legs.
Fast-charging, apparently. 😅
Hard to keep up with.
Mini size, maximum mischief.
👑 Suzy
The sweet blue-eyed princess.
Well… on paper.
In reality, Suzy is a tiny demon on legs, fully aware of her powers. Don’t leave anything unattended. Even up high. She has decided that her 3 kilos will never stop her from stealing my dinner like everyone else.
🧔 Marcel
The bearded one.
The calmest and shyest of the group.
The one who watches before acting.
A tiny old soul trapped in a puppy’s body.
💪 Arthur
Nicknamed the big arms.
Self-proclaimed mini tyrant.
Small body, oversized ego.
🌪️ Elsa
Your party buddy.
A real whirlwind.
Always moving, never in the same place.
And somehow, you always find her at 2 a.m. playing darts with strangers in a sketchy bar.
🎭 Louise
The most reasonable one… apparently.
Drama mode included.
If I leave her in a crate for 10 minutes while she eats, she screams for 10 minutes.
Emotionally very consistent.
