Polly Pocket–sized puppies who, despite a rough start in life, are clearly overflowing with energy. All five of them together weigh 25 kilos. And yet, sometimes, you’d swear they make more noise than all my big dogs combined.

Ambre & Onyx

Les p'tites pataaates

Meet my two little potatoes, Ambre and Onyx. I adopted them to be my anchors when everything feels unstable. And they do that job very well.

Shae

I named her Shae, like in Game of Thrones. Because she has character. A lot of it. She survived two cancers. And I sincerely hope her fate will be less tragic than the character’s.

Athéna

Nanny of the Rancho

Athéna was abandoned in a very touristic town, in a state of extreme malnutrition. Nobody wanted her. With a small push from fate, she has now officially become the nanny of Rancho Peludo.

Manilo

A four-month-old puppy trapped in an adult’s body

The only one at the Rancho who once had a home. Passed from hand to hand, chained, hungry, angry. Here, he discovered freedom, a pack… and life itself. Since then, he’s been learning everything — at full speed.

Pitchoune

The one who “pretends” to squint

The moment my eyes met Pitchoune’s mismatched gaze, it was love at first sight — for me, not for her. She was terrified of humans. But despite everything she’s been through, she remained disarmingly gentle and full of joy — enough to melt every heart at the Rancho.

Teddy, Bear and Bella

Teddy, Bear, and Bella’s journey to recovery has been a tough one. These three orphaned puppies were rescued after losing their sibling, and they need ongoing support to continue thriving.

Raven

This sweet girl was living on the streets, all alone. Now at Rancho Peludo, Raven needs your help to heal her broken leg and damaged eye. Every donation helps Raven get the care she deserves! Become her Pawsome Pal and give her a second chance to play!

Meet the Zookeeper

The Wild Heart Providing Care, Shelter, and Endless Love to All Things Furry, Feathery, and Everything in Between.

It's been an incredible journey from fearing dogs to now caring for them. I had always been a cat person, but my experience with dogs was not the best. As I learned to love them, I realized that there are no bad dogs, only lazy owners. As the one who keeps an eye on feedings and medications, my mission is to ensure that every animal here gets to live another day, and as a consequence, get to have another chance at a happy, loving life.
